CSV is primarily table values
CSV does not preserve multiple worksheets, cell colors, merged cells, or the formula logic of an Excel workbook. This converter exports one selected worksheet to CSV.
Keep the source workbook, then compare headers and row counts in the export.
Check text and identifiers
Choose UTF-8 when importing CSV in Excel. Postal codes or product IDs beginning with zero should be imported as text, or Excel may drop those zeros.
Spot-check dates, long numbers, and non-English characters before sharing the result.
